Vietnam is not in the US, is it? I think he's better off with the Taiwanese and Chinese Ebay sites (http://www.ebay.com.tw and http://www.ebay.cn, maybe http://www.ebay.hk is worth a try, as well).

in asia pacific the SL45 was sold as "6688(i)".
You have to check for this name within ebay or other relevant platforms.

Furthermore ebay.com could not be the right domain for vietnam?
There should be a local version of ebay...

Can somebody tell me, why a Vietnamese with a family living in Australia asks in a German forum for a link to buy a mobile phone?
I think ebay is a good link already. But whether eBay US, UK or Germany doesn't matter because nearly no one will send around the world. So you have to look in Vietnamese or Australien eBay (I heard of an alternative famous auction platform in Australia but forget the name...) for a second-hand mobile phone.
Or try at eBay Germany and ask kindly if shipping to Vietnam (or Australia??) is possible. There are still new phones sold (69 Euro plus shipping).
