Sorry about the English, I cannot seem to get bitpim to recognize my EF81 phone here in the US, I use t-mobile, I believe it is GSM 1900, is that possibly why when I select 'other CDMA' it doesn't work? I also tried to tell the bitpim I was using the LG-VX8100, but bitpim still won't recognize my EF81. I am trying to access bitpim via the USB data cable right now, but my AZIO bluetooth dongle comes tomorrow, I hope to have better luck with that, also I am at firmware 58, thank you.

Yes I did, and still nothing, I dont know if it has anything to with the fact I am using GSM here. I think the EF81 will work with GSM and CDMA though. And my bluetooth USB dongle is hung up in UPS, a week and a half delayed they say due to weather, I say due to them taking a 4 day holiday, grrrrr.
After I looked at the jpgs from adfree, I realized it works, and I must be doing something wrong, so I went back and read Sandstorms instructions again, I had been doing the first two steps correctly, saying CDMA and choosing the COM port for the Diagnostics, but Sandstorm said to go to View/View Filesystem, and WAIT A MINUTE, because the bitpim software kept telling me it couldn't give me phone info, I interpreted that to mean I was not connected. Finally it retrieved the filesystem info, I had been exiting the program too early. Thanks to all of you.
