I have brought fw up to date up to the version fw 58. I have sold these very beautiful mobile telephones for a simple reason, the volume in conversation was very low also set up to the maximum, in noisy environments I was not able to hear any more from my interlocutor. Someone of you experts has noticed this problem is resolved? I would be very grateful to you if someone of you informed me as it has solved the problem. did you set the volume high during a call? (press keypad up)

my experience is that if you do not hold the speaker directly over you ear the volume is very low.

That's right. The microphone is behind a very small slot. So the position of your ear to the slot ist importent. The EL71 has the same problem.

Good morning. I thank you for your kind answers. Am obliged to specify that I have the volume set up to the maximum in conversation, the telephone position it well in the ear. Unfortunately when I am in means to the motor traffic I do effort to hear. Unfortunately my ef81 and also that of a friend of mine low have the audio problem in conversation. Also hearing from also other possessors of this terminal here in italia they say the same problem about possession. Seeing the done test of this terminal on a well known Italian Internet site we read that also they have noticed this defect. Are much discouraged, my ef81 have put back him in the box is only use it to listen to Mp3 in headphone since the music in headphone feels well. Check your item 3475! 10 should be the highest Value...

You can try higher and look whats happen. But at your own risk!

For changing NV items you can use NV Editor or QXDM...
