EF91 firmware installation

I'm Claudio, italian, and I have bought a good Benq-Siemens EF91 from
Germany.
To change the lenguages of the phone I performed a firmware upgrade BUT there was an error message during the operation. I didn't know what to do and I did the (I think) wrost thing: I detached the battery!!!
Now my EF91 is completely dead. If I try to connect it to my PC using
USB cable it remains off without any sign of life.
Is it copletely LOST??? Is it something that I can do??
PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Hi there,

you can put the Phone in the "Emergency Mode" and then try to Update the Phone again.

In Emergency Mode the PC can detect your Phone.....

To go into the Emergency Mode press the # and then the Red Key (Phone Off) short.....now ya must be able to Start the Update again !

I have tried, but nothing happens (with USB cable connected or not).
The phone display remains off and the PC doesn't detect the phone....

- attach JTAG through Test Points...

Solution to do it at home.
MSL Works support site - MSLJ project

But you need the Testpoints... knowledge AND skills AND Software.

And more then 400-500 Euro...

Or you search for someone proffessional. Who can do this for you. Also costs money.

Yes. It is complicated.

Sorry. For normal User like you AND me. Your EF91 is dead.

Only if you pay for special Hardware...

Search for JTAG with Google.

I know nobody in Germany, who can repair your dead EF91.

It makes no sence, to ship it 1000 KM through the world and paying ca. 50 Euro for repair...

If u like EF91. Buy new one from Ebay. Is much cheaper...
